Tennis
Tennis at Fripp Island is a year round sport. The Racquet Club with 8 Fast-Dry clay courts and two hard courts is directly across the street from the beach and part of the Beach Club complex.

If your passion is water sports, you can explore the backwaters and creeks surrounding our island in one of our kayaks or canoes. The resort has so many rental toys you may want to stay an extra week just for the shear fun of it.

Fishing
If fishing is your passion, you’ll love coming here. Offshore fishing with our experienced charter guides can be arranged at the Marina Store. The Gulf Stream is abundant with sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, grouper and snapper. Inshore fishing for flounder, trout, drum and tarpon is popular around the island. The Marina hosts a number of fishing tournaments in the spring, summer and falland expert guide service connections. At the end of the day, take a Sunset Cruise on our 49 foot pontoon boat or come early for the 2-hour Dolphin Cruise.

Golfing
Two of the most spectacular golf courses in America are right here on Fripp Island. Ocean Point, a true seaside links course boasts dramatic views of the ocean or inlet on 10 of the 18 holes. On the south end of the island is Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course. Ocean Creek offers magnificent panoramic views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes with four distinctive rolling dune line that come into play.

Activity Center
The Activity Center is the focal point of all the great social programs on the island like “Meet the Animals." Kids will never forget their first experience at Camp Fripp. If you are 3-12 years old, it’s the most fun you can have with your sneakers on!! Each day is themed and ranges from Pirates of Skull Creek to Wild, Wild West and Mad Scientist Day.

Do you still need more things to do?? Try Hunting Island State Park located just before Fripp Island. Hunting Island is the home for a real light house which is awesome to see and explore. Beaufort, SC itself is a very friendly bay town of the old south. It offers many fine restaurants and hours of good looking and shopping its many quaint walkways and southern shops. Beaufort also has a newly finished river walk that people of all ages can enjoy.

Getting Around
Golf carts are the preferred method of transportation among guests on the island and can be rented by the week, day or hour. Biking is a great way to explore the island along miles of trails that connect you with every part of the resort. If mopeds are your thing, you can do your sightseeing at 25mph.
